My mother literally chasing me (an adult) across the house with a shaving razor because i have hair on my legs is just another example of how trans men have it easier and masculinity is always rewarded, trust me.
Vent alert:
A few years ago I went to visit some family in Germany for a week and I didn't want to shave when we were about to go back home, mainly because I have chronic fatigue and really hate shaving because of it, but I did want to wear shorts since it was pretty hot because it was summer to fall. So my mom said that she'd leave me there in Germany if I don't shave and she and my aunt started making fun of me and laughing asking if I'm trans or a boy in a way that was obvious they didn't mean they actually thought I was trans they just wanted to be mean to get me to shave. And she said that she doesn't want to have people see me next to her if I don't shave my legs. When it literally doesn't matter because it's an airport and nobody would know us and if they do so what? Who cares?
Idk. This idea that "masculinity is always rewarded" is just so detached from reality. Sorry for the vent btw.
Nah it's ok i don't mind ur good, truly the "material analysis" of the ages, next thing you know we'll be hearing about how actually gender conformity is punished by society
