Okay as funny as Olruggio's multi-day crashout is, I don't think he genuinely believed for a second that Qifrey had been kidnapped. I think what he's actually scared of is the thing that he insists couldn't possibly be the case: Qifrey leaving him. This story is set pre-daughter acquisition, and, well, it's not exactly unheard of for Qifrey to be an avoidant squirrelly bastard and take unilateral action without bothering to explain himself. Do I think that Olruggio seriously believed that Qifrey had permanently fucked off without saying goodbye? Nah. But I do think that the evidence fit that explanation just enough to send him spiraling.
