I know he's too fundamentally bishonen for this to really be relevant, but considering that his eyebrows are still dark qifrey's stubble would presumably come in that colour, not to match his hair

I watched the first ep of witch hat atelier with my family over the weekend and the moment qifrey turned up on screen my mum gave the softest wondering 'aw' sound under her breath. shirahama you're too powerful

okay really sad messed up idea coming up -- what if qifrey's eye was initially a willing sacrifice. what if this child had a parent who was dying or something and was promised this would save them, to mirror the 'what would a child do to keep a parent (well.... anything)' theme going through coco, custas and jujy's stories. what if he was trying to save someone he loved and now he can't remember them at all. also mirroring how olruggio can't remember what he has done (again and again and again) for someone he loves. I don't like that my brain came up with this but if I have to consider it so should everyone else

hey it'd be real fucked up if olruggio originally wanted/the tower of tomes would have granted him the 'delete this bad memory specifically with surgical precision at the cost of one (1) tear' spell to get the nauz incident out of his mind, and he gave that idea up to keep qifrey instead, while baby qifrey started out wanting his memories back but gave that up to have a future with olruggio. like if olruggio gave up erasing a great pain of his past and qifrey gave up trying to regain the great pain of his. and they did that for each other. and now they have to live with it. (but at least those two rascals have each other etc.)
