You can ask how long it will take for the pizza to get to you, and they will tell you how far away a dispatcher is.

My flat-mate’s date for the night was almost as drunk as her.  She had passed out in her room and locked the door.  He refused to leave because he wanted to have sex.  He also demanded food because he was dealing with “whiskey dick”.  He didn’t like the lack of food in the fridge.  I called 911, did the stuff stated above, and he was getting PISSED about how long the “order” was taking.  He took my phone, demanded they “hurry the fuck up”.  Police arrived two minutes later, arrested him, and helped me file a police report.  Pressing charges wasn’t necessary because he had warrants on him from THREE different states for the very thing he planned to do to me.  Several months after this happened one of the officers informed me he was charged with two felonies because he crossed stay lines, and will be serving no less than 35 years in prison.  The officer ripped into my flat-mate about her bringing home complete strangers, while drunk, knowing full well this shit could happen. 

This was 14 years ago.  

Do the pizza order, do it as calmly as you can.  The dispatcher I spoke to said things like this:

“If he’s drunk say you want mushrooms.”  I said I want extra mushrooms.

“If he’s threatening you with sexual assault say you want onions.”  I said I want onions.

She went like this with different toppings and sauces for a description of him, like pineapple if he’s blonde, black olives if he’s tall, extra large if he’s tall, etc.

naturally it’s expected, there’s only so much that can be created for fan content (as opposed to doing your own original stuff), but it’s still so absolutely irritating to borderline infuriating for me

i never blamed the other artists of course (i mean, how could they ever know?? i’m not gonna be a jerk and be like “HEY YOU STOLE THIS IDEA FROM ME THAT I NEVER TALKED ABOUT OR POSTED ONLINE ABOUT AT ALL”), i mainly beat myself up for not doing it fast enough

i’m genuinely thankful for camp camp, it’s helped my mental state so much and it’s probably the biggest comfort things i’ve ever had. i found it during a really dark time in my life and it’s genuinely gotten my mind off of self harm in the past.

i know a lot of people are like “uwu if you like camp camp youre bad and im going to associate it with killing stalking/every other problematic thing” but….these are the same people who are into stuff just as bad (ie south park?? which i cant even watch anymore. i miss it from my childhood but its…not worth it anymore honestly. the fandom is toxic sludge and the show isnt any better)

this show has kept my mind off of my CSA abuser and helped my PTSD (i was able to re associate some weird noise triggers w/the show like the sound of breaks on cars and other misc stuff like that)

obv people are allowed to hate it, dislike it, i dont care! this isn’t a “YOU SHOULDNT HATE THIS SHOW BECASUE–” type of post. i can understand why people dislike it, there’s some sensitive content in the show and a lot of the fandom is…really bad. (Ie ma//x//vi//d. or any counselor/camper. please dont.)

 but. im one of the people who likes it for very, VERY personal, abuse-related traumatic reasons because it soothes me and it literally makes me want to die less. i’ve had a lot of comfort media in my time, but this is probably the biggest one i’ve had. i’ve thought less about suicide now because i have something to keep my mind off of it than i have in a long time.

so,,,

tl;dr: i dont care if you hate it but i am a person who likes it. if that makes you uncomfortable, that’s okay!! i’d be happier if you unfollowed me or blocked me instead of pretending to like it and/or like me. 

if you dislike it, i obviously wont talk about it to you unless you ask. if you still want to talk but dont like the show, i’m obviously not going to even care about that. friendship doesnt have to be influenced by something like that! i’m not going to get religious about it and ask like “WELL WHY DONT YOU LIKE IT?? ITS A GREAT SHOW”

If you look it up, however…

-With David in charge, he makes some outrageously silly safety rules/camp activities/a big changd that irritates everybody. He begins to enforce it harshly but realizes that the kiddos are more unhappy than usual…and he realizes he’s acting like Cameron. He goes back to normal after this

-Cam tries to act like he’s still in charge but….everybody ignores him. He’s super mad about this.

-David scolds Cameron for not doing enough/helping around the camp

-Cameron has some sort of revelation about being crappy and helps out

-Cameron becomes attached to a single camper (and later all of them…he’ll say how much he hates them but then he gets attached)

-(Not really a prediction, just an idea I’ve had for a while) Cute Waitress comes back and her and David become a thing (or honestly anybody else) only for Gwen to, A) get EXTREMELY jealous (and not want to admit it), or B) suspect she’s up to something unsavory

-Cameron sees Jasper and has a breakdown (MAKE HIM CRY!!!)

-David finally gets reassurance about Jasper and can be at peace about it

-Max finally spills something about his homelife during a heated moment/ and/or argument with someone (David, Neil) which leads to another tearful scene and some hugging

-Max’s parents try to take him out of camp but the kids (and David especially) make sure he stays

-A threat to lake lilac (an antagonist tries to buy out Camp Campbell/the Woodscouts/the Flowerscouts, a new POPULAR camp emerges) so they have a mandatory “work together” episode

-Another camper is terrorized by puberty like Nikki was in Nikki’s Last Day On Earth

-Another flashback episode, Woodscouts episode and Flower Scouts episode

-More background info for David and/or Max
