Here is Some another Camp Camp Drawing
Here we have Neil and Tabii near the lake alongside Max and Nikki
Why does the best content never last?
I'm not sure how to describe it. Dropout partnering with the LAPD and catering to/spending egregious amounts of money on awards shows nominations, Critical Role ditching livestreams and paywalling community interaction, literally everything Roosterteeth did, these home grown productions grown organically and independently always seem to end up falling into the exact same traps as major corporate studios. It feels like these groups we love so much always end up losing their identity just as they perfect their craft and I think I've figured it out.
That perfect balance, that point where production value is high but that little bit of jank and the rough edges give them an earnestness that invites the community to think "we are a part of this, not just customers."
Why does no one ever say "this is perfect, this is enough." Groups either stay tiny and niche and entirely indie and never get to express their full potential, or they skyrocket and abandon all the quirks that made their community fall in love in favor of chasing a lowest common denominator for the widest audience.
It's ironic, it's almost like these institutions that we love so much can't become their perfect selves unless it's only in the pursuit of mediocrity.

Its nice when RWBY Fanatics prove your point for you.
So, a guy comes out and says that toxic positivity doesnt exist, i respond by giving examples of it, and the result of it? Its the guy admiting straight up that yeah, toxic positivity exists by saying that critics "deserved it".
First of all, dont minimize a fucking genocidal march of people to an internet slap-fight, i know that RWBY fanatics have problems distinguishing horrifying shit that happens in reality and fantasy, but you can do better than that, though considering some of you think slurs being used is justified, maybe i expect too much.
RWBY critics were literally banned from r/RWBY, mass banned, and after backlash, 2 years later, the mods quietly banned the most outspoken critics, not for breaking rules, but for "being disruptive", and that "disruption" is always just being critical.
That is what toxic positivity manifests as, its not disagreement, that is fine. Its the reaction to criticism as being inherently bad and disruptive and taking action to remove it all.
Dont bullshit about "many fans have given me examples of you stalking them", because i can guarantee that you have TWO examples. 1 from fucking canonseeker, the cancer in this fandom that he is and people like you defend, and the second is from xelwriter or one of his cronies who are still butthurt that i found out about them trying to manufacture a mass report campaign against me and confronted them over it.
You are a perfect example of someone who is a toxic positive fan who pretends that he isnt, but it took only ONE response for you to fully uncover yourself to be full of shit. Going from "toxic positivity doesnt exist" to "YOU DESERVE IT!!!".
And yeah yeah, i have heard the entire "Hating RWBY is all you have schtick". RWBY fanatics should find some better responses than that, that projection got tiring years ago. I barely engage with RWBY and i could provide you "receits" of my activities in my other hobbies, though i doubt that people like you would care.
So congratulations in failing with your entire controlled opposition bullshit. Dont think that you or your buddies are slick with that one by the way, by doing the entire "We just hate bad critics, we have criticism too, but we conveniently never criticize RWBY and always talk shit about critics" shtick.
You people genuinely need to stop attaching your self worth to a fucking internet show made by a now defunct dudebro company.
....frack.
I just realized why Ruby says "That's why we're here" in the first season of the Monty Oum show.
I am Back on Vacation, I got back 2 days ago, and I Have a New Drawing too Show You
