I get it. It's emotional and jarring and unpleasant to have to bring up your dead name and I'm sorry about that. But you have plenty of workers on your side who want to help you find peace and allow you to embrace yourself as you are. You know how many people share rewards accounts? Most of us aren't even aware that that's your dead name on the account; we usually just figure it's a parent's name or a friend's account. You don't have to yell at us or throw a fit or storm out.

You can calmly say, "Hey, can I update that information? Thanks -" and insert any of the following depending on the type of account you're updating (some of them are lies and can be used for the mundane accounts):

+"That information no longer reflects who I am." (If you feel comfortable, just say you transitioned.)

+"That information is a mix of mine and (family member or friend) and I'd like for it to just be for me."

+ "I just got a new number and that information is from the previous owner."

You can even take initiative if you suspect someone will say your dead name and politely say beforehand, "Hey, the name that might pop up isn't one I want to hear because (insert desired reason); is there a way to confirm the account is mine without having the name said and can we update the information?"

Or you can even update the information on your own if possible.

And if you really don't want to deal with any of that at all then I suggest making a new email and getting a brand new phone number right away and starting from scratch on things if you're able to.

My point at the end of all of this stands - we love you, we care about you, and we want to help you. Don't be a jerk to strangers trying to do their job and who are willing to help you. Not everyone is an enemy to you and there's probably many who underwent what you're going through.

Once again, but from the Monster's perspective.

It is kind of funny that I've seen some folk kind of confused that the movie reportedly is told from the perspectives of both Victor and the Monster or think it's a radical new thing when, y'know, it's directly a thing from the book that there are multiple narratives (and the implication that Victor is an unreliable narrator, for example).
