What you're doing is reverse osmosis, and if it's alkaline then there is a substance that's not water in there to make it alkaline. You can't purify water to a pH of 12, because pure water molecules have, by definition of how the pH system works and several phyics rules, a pH of exactly 7.

How did you discover them? What are they eating? Are they resistant to 60 degrees and steam? Do they procreate in the fridge? "Put them in your flowers, they can reverse cavities, put them in your walls" what are they eating in my walls? What kind of microorganisms are they? Did you test the safety of those things in human bodies? Are they native to my biotope? How do they survive in those fucking ceramic beads?

Also! Stress tolerance is such an important skill that having a learning disability in that area is a major symptom of a whole lot of other disabilities/mental illnesses! Struggling with it is a huge part of life! It sucks!

Am I saying everyone with misophonia needs to listen to chewing noises all day? No. But you need to find ways to tolerate it enough that you don't treat others like shit if they make a mouth noise near you.

Dark books can be honest and soulful glimpses into the worst parts of the human existence, and it can be cheap misery/torture porn.

There is no genre that is inherently better than any other, no genre that doesn't have its treasures and its trash. We are multifaceted creatures that need multifaceted experiences and thus every genre has something to offer. We are also living in a corporate, capitalist system that values quantity over quality and will pounce on any perceived shift in the market to start churning out one genre and squashing another.
