Then God gently reminded me to stop asking Him to search someone else's heart... and start asking Him to search mine. What I found in the story of Apollos completely changed the way I think about humility. Maybe humility isn't pretending we know less. Maybe it's staying teachable no matter how much we've learned. And maybe, especially as women, we need to remember that God never equated humility with silence. He calls us to speak the truth in love, to use our gifts faithfully and to remain humble enough to keep learning.
