well, no, i didn’t expect leopards to eat my face, but this obviously wasn’t what the leopards eating people's face party wanted. they were stifled by their opposition and bureaucratic red tape! i think we should give more power to the leopard eating face party, so the leopards only eat the faces of people who deserve it. plus they just put a new leopard in charge of the face eating, and i think this one really brings something new to the table. so yes i'm voting for the leopards eating people's face party again. why wouldn't i.

squiddo saying on stream that she was trying to get more women into the event and that they were turned down primarily because they weren't considered active enough which is like. Self fulfilling prophecy here, if these girls aren't getting invited to projects, what are they expected to be posting? Which Squiddo also directly acknowledged while talking about it, so I don't say this as criticism of her, but it's an unfortunate example of how misogyny compounds and is reinforced when people don't interrogate the circumstances that female streamers and youtubers are dealing with and make judgements of them without considering why their output might be the way it is. Really frustrating to hear :/

And it's not even a good thing for the server, like inviting a bunch of people that have other shit going on isn't going to lend itself to an active and committed member because those people have other priorities. That's been a problem with existing members for the past few seasons, I think you'll get way more out of taking a chance on someone who's had a slow few months because of a lack of projects because they have more to commit to the server. I know this is an event and not actual full season adds, but I think the point still stands. If you want to look at activity in this event as a test-run for potential new adds, you're shooting yourself in the foot. But that's just my opinion!
