2) if I need to remember something that crosses two different spheres of my life (ex: bring a new good pen to work, the old one that I have refills for cracked and the spring explodes out when I write with it) then I put a mark on my hand bc then my wife goes "what's on your hand" and I go "oh! I need to put a new pen in my work bag" and this way it doesn't take a week for me to remember to do it

3) my hack for bad short term memory while baking is that every ingredient starts out on the left side of the mixer and is moved to the right side after being added

I like the bright light thing (mostly use low level red lights in my room, initially installed for light sensitive screen printing; turned out I just like them. Is this a ND thing?). Will give it a try so I can finish repairing my guitar that’s been disassembled for 2+ years.

I use the left and right thing in the kitchen as well, for cooking and filling my pill containers.
