my girlfriend and i have been together for almost three years now and as we get older life gets more serious and our relationship get somehow easier and more difficult to hide at the same time. i’m kind of coming face to face with the idea that i actually have to tell my family at some point and it’s freaking me out a little. i have time still, but it’s this thing i’ve always known and always feared. though i value my family and am disheartened by my expectation of bad reactions, i try not to care too much. it’s not my fault what people think of this. my girlfriend is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. i’m so, so lucky, and i will always choose her.
