For Dickbabs Week 2026! Day 1 prompt: Could've Lost You | You Never Failed Me | Clocktower

- ectoplasm forms in her stomach when she uses her powers too much and she vomits it

- her powers are influenced by her hormonal cycle so when she gets her periods her powers are all over the place and harder to control and she becomes a magnet for ghosts

- if she touches someone who is dying she will feel it and even have visions of their death or funeral, even if the person is not aware of it, because their soul is already getting closer to the other side

- she accidentally learns what happened to John's mother by touching a dish that belonged to her in Cheryl's house, Juliet faints and has an horrible vision of the multiple abortions and the twins' birth

- when she and John talk about having a kid someday she tells him she has got a name she likes if they have a daughter and she doesn't know why or where she got it from. When John asks what it is she answers "Astra" and John is in shock because he never told Juliet about Astra. It's a very hard moment for both of them but it also lifts a weight for John. In fact Juliet was aware of the name because remnants of Astra's energy were still lingering around John and she picked them up unconsciously. In the end they to name their daughter Astra as a tribute and that finishes John's journey through grief and acceptance (even if it had already been done partially in Jenkins).

- Juliet does not control her powers when she sleeps and dreams, hence many ghosts entered the Dreaming through her without her being aware which causes Morpheus to visit John in person to find a solution to this problem because ghosts cannot exist in the dreaming

- I have an awfully horrible AU in which Juliet gets pregnant with a boy before having Astra but has a miscarriage. However being a powerful medium, her baby's soul remains attached inside her womb after his death. But being a unborn child's soul it is so raw and uncontrolled that it turns evil somehow. And if it remains attached to Juliet's womb it will kill her so John has to exorcise his own son out of Juliet's body to save her.
