as for that feeling of frustration u get when a piece doesn’t turn out the way you wanted Its 100% normal and common among all artists i think and unfortunately it doesn’t rly go away with time or as u improve… although u gotta remember that you are your own worst critic. don’t fret if something doesn’t turn out exactly how u imagined it. the best thing to do in that case is take a break and come back to that piece later with a fresh perspective so u can spot mistakes more easily and fix them. u also need to remember that progress isn’t linear, and it doesn’t work the same way for everyone. u might go through several flop eras before seeing any improvement (i know i have). also, some people are fast learners, others may need a bit more time, but one isnt necessarily better than the other. its just how some people are wired and that’s okay! at the end of the day drawing is a skill, and any skill can be improved with time and practice. and u shouldn’t be embarrassed abt the things u make!!especially in this day and age with the rise of generative ai… if ur an artist u need to keep creating and i am so so serious abt this!!!!!!!!!
