Corianna is just another 'noble in the crowd' but not really because she like, collects information about things going on in different courts with her little network of trusted people. She also has connections to the Redanian Secret Service and gets stuff done when asked.

When she was younger, her family's estate at Montecalvo was mostly run by the castellan appointed by her father since her family usually spent a lot of time at Kovir and Poviss as Redanian ambassadors. eventually when Cori grew up, and after a lot of fighting and arguing with her father she was allowed to come back to Montecalvo and handle the estate by herself.

The castellan fully supported her through this and taught her how to run an estate as well as make connections in the world of Nobility. He was more of a parent to her than her actual parents were. He, however, isn't really happy about her involvement with the RSS becuase it might get dangerous for the Young Miss but he believes she's at least smart enough not to get into dangerous situations on her own. He doesn't know how often she sneaks out at night to get some things done herself.

In the noble circles she mostly tries to just, stay neutral and be like a mediating party in case there is any conflict (mostly its petty squabbles but she gets a lot of tea out of it and surprisingly enough people just tend to spill their guts out to her so she ends up with information which sometimes proves quite helpful).

On one of the information gathering outings, while coming back she come across some bandits. In trying to run away she bumps into a knight from Kovir and Poviss who helps her get back to her estate. In the safety of her home she learns the name of the night and they realise they've met before when she used to live there with her parents.
