learning that addiction is a progressive narrowing of the range of things that make one happy was kinda life changing for me. i apply it to everything not even just addiction i am always checking to ask if i am narrowing my range of happiness or widening it

i think it's funny when a character is almost exclusively referred to by their last name by other people and this carries over into their internal monologue when someone writes from their pov. not even on a first name basis with herself

i love hitting characters who answer sarcastic questions seriously and take turns of phrase as literal with my autism beam.

doubly so if they're perfectly capable of being a sarcastic little shit and use their own convoluted little idioms all the time; they also just cannot pick up when other people are doing it.
