But he says something that catches my attention, which is aside from the fact Darlin & Sam have their place instead of sharing one place like everyone else.

He says the reason they have a place of their own is to avoid being woken up when everyone is awake and moving around in the cabin. First off, are Sam & Darlin just straight-up rotating what parts of the day they're going to be awake or asleep? Second off that alone isn't weird because there's instances where the two are up and about when people are sleeping and then asleep whenever the others are awake. But at the same time for the majority of them being together. They're up whenever everyone is and just tend to leave/show up either early in the morning or late in the day.

Plus you can't tell me David & Angel haven't been lugging around an umbrella/parasol for Sam to use if he does have to step out when the sun is in it peeked hours.

My best guess is that these two nut jobs have just been rotating the hours of the day, which i guess makes Sam a bit semi normal vampire because he’s up more than Vincent & lovely? I don't know at this point anymore, for some reason these vampire act like they're still human and at the same time not.

I think since Vampires don't actually need much sleep, it's more likely that Darlin is taking a few hours here and there and when they're sleeping in the early hours of daylight and up for the occasional afternoon activity with the Pack, maybe a nap before the sun goes down and Sam can join everyone for night activities until the daywalkers get tired. Sam and Darlin probably get up to exactly as much as anyone else would during the day.

Pretty sure its been hinted that Darlin's sleep schedule is a very non-schedule schedule.

Also if i remember right, one of Sam's audios (it was either a morning audio or a "windiwng down after the day" type audio), hinted rhat now, while daiting Sam, they have even more of a reason to stay awake the nights.
