(I love this AU so much the only thing that would make it funnier would be if the peak lords were the only ones to be transmigrated actually bcs wdym everyone just overlooks their mistakes because they can’t tell that they’re mistakes cause they don’t know enough about ancient china same as the peak lords…)

I think he also enjoys pranks too and he sometimes pulls some of them on his fellow transmigrators such as the classic water bucket on top of the door prank tho it doesn't usually work cause they have incredible reflexes (unless they are extremely tired)

the reason why he became the Wan Jian peak lord could be a side hobby he had such as forging, or a small jewelry making business he did way back then, honestly im still working on it wahah but I do like a few ideas that have been proposed to me

ALSO for the peak lords being the only transmigrators, I had it set as "every named character in the og PIDW book" would be one but any wives or nps that show up would esentially be ocs and I don't really wanna create that many lol, so I'm thinking of changing it

When she first became head disciple and started to see him around more, she was thrilled that she would have another person who could dish it out like she could, and was upset when he treated her with nothing but respect. And then the rumours started. Suddenly, she believed she understood why he was treating her so much different than the male head disciples. He believed women were nothing but gentle creatures to seduce! Her bullying was no longer an act of love but something she felt in her heart, and until the day Shen Jiu proves he can see her as the mean, independent woman she is, she will not allow him to get away with his perverted sexism.

So a few years ago I had this idea where SY introduces DnD to QJP as "strategy training" and SQH ends up coming over every week or so to be the DM. (Ofc all of the scenarios are written by SQH) (under SY's supervision bc you can't trust that man) and SY helps with monster-related stuff and convincing YQY to let SQH spend more time outside of An Ding Peak (or smth idk)

Anyway 3 years later here's a short comic inspired by this idea

yue qingyuan and wei qingwei having a sword–swordmaker dynamic. yqy is the gentlest, most proper sword that wei qingwei has ever interacted with. but wei qingwei remembers the fight against tianlang-jun, and– well, at his core, yue qingyuan is blazing – just restrained very, very well. wei qingwei would put him up on his wall, or smooth over each of the cracks along blade, or lay him beside yue qi's non-existent grave. yue qingyuan as one of wei qingwei and mu qingfang's greatest creations

qijiu as each other's swords.

yqy shaping himself to be the perfect thing for shen jiu to use – a perfect sect leader that wouldn't ever get overthrown, that would always be able to provide safety for shen jiu; to bring him countless gifts. he spends late nights doing qiong ding paperwork and shapes his exhaustion into something benefitting shen jiu – because other than that, he has no use (and he pretends to be perfect because xiao jiu would deserve an unblemished blade, and also because he's unworthy of showing his scars and repaired meridians to xiao jiu)

at the same time, shen jiu constructing the persona of qing jing peak lord shen qingqiu. he's whip-smart, and ruthless, and scheming – and all that helps himself survive, of course, but it also keeps cang qiong afloat too. shen jiu would never become a noble blade, but– at least yue qingyuan sees him becoming a poisoned dagger and still doesn't throw him away again. at least shen qingqiu, with all his schemes, gets to have yue qingyuan close to him. he hates the fact, and hates the hierarchy; hates being that dagger in the sect leader's too soft, too useless hands. hates it and lives for it all at the same time, because yue qingyuan keeps choosing that poisoned dagger when he has so many other swords at his disposal. (except – yue qingyuan tries to combat the charges at the trial and fails. a poisoned dagger is still a poisoned dagger, and now luo binghe gets to dismantle it bit by bit until there are cracks running along the entirety of its curved blade)
