And my theory on the good friends limitations beings that it made him have more of a poker face and be more emotionless and nearly removed anger from his emotions So now hes as a emotional as he always thought he has been. And anger is back in the equation. It would explain why hes never done this before. Or why theres been so many instances of him being angry at so many things. Meanwhile before in Pt1 and Pt2 I can probably count with my fingers how many times he got angry

Oooo Does Nasol have a good grasp on her emotions? And whats nessecary for the situation? In the dinner scene in part 2 it certainly seems so. And in her crash out at Soleum in Part 3 she very much riled it back. Apologizing and saying that didnt help the situation at all. Which tells me she only tends to yell or get mad or snap when she thinks it'll improve the situation. Which lines up with previous actions of hers. Maybe shes got this in the bag who knows

In that scene where Soleum told her that they were equals now and she shouldn't behave as a superior she behaved quite emotionally Unlike here where she has her composure. My guess is that shes recovered a lot of her self control and composure since then. After all just earlier that day she was twitching and muttering on the floor in a horrible mental state. Soleum brought her back. But that comment he made rlly brought her down. My guess is since then shes regained her composure and self control. Yay!

Soleum rlly likes scaring and psychologically hurting people as a way to control them holy moly Well not everyone But this is the second time hes done it Scaring the researcher insures hes easier to control and more willing to listen. Woaa

Yk Saheons Section Chief bit versus Soleums Psychopath bit is quite interesting Because they use the same technique! Obvious threats phrased in a friendly manner. Holding the shoulder and pressing close. Correcting their manner of speaking. But they come off quite differently. Saheon comes off as intimidating and humiliating. Soleum comes off as terrifying and humiliating. Saheon has the advantage that he is in a superior position and he will take advantage of that. Soleum doesnt have that so he installs fear. He makes them think he's a lunatic who draws pleasure off of suffering.

But in the end they both carry very similar results. They gain a reputation of being unpredictable and gain safety because of it. You dont want to mess with someone whose next actions you cant predict. Saheon gains this unpredictability by acting in a friendly sweet gentle manner before suddenly switching to cruel, threatening, and someone who holds complete control over you. Its not as intentional as Soleum. Soleum whose actions are random and varied. One minute hes acting as your teammate the next hes hurling an axe at you. One minute hes excited to see who dies the next hes saving everyone there. One minute hes listening and working with you the next hes mocking and humilating you. So cool… Saheon only keeps you on your toes because hes your superior. It wouldnt work if he was an equal. Soleums act is much more meticulous. Much more calculated. Despite supposdedly holding equal power he is still very much in control.

DAMN SOLEUM EVEN WANTS REVENGR 😭 Holy Maybe that wasnt an act to control the researcher. I mean it will have that effect! But soleums intentions seem to be more towards tormenting and scaring the researcher Damnn Researcher you messed up I ain't never seen Soleum want revenge on someone 😭 At most at MOST ive seen him want to hurt someone. Like he did with the cheerful researcher. But hes never wanted revenge in the future. He took advantage of the situation to hurt the researcher but he didnt plan in the future for MORE revenge.

I love how they brought in bullies so far into the story Usually bullies show up at the start of the story then drift into obscurity but not here! They pulled up in Part 3! And they're a genuine obstacle/threat! Not because they can actuallt hurt the main character But because they can do smth that will hurt the main character.

And Soleum made a miscalculation! He was too confident! He let these guys mess with him, assuming he can just deal with them and not seeing them as a genuine obstacle/threat. Meanwhile a main character at the start of the story whose only just gaining confidence may have shut down the bullies! Caused them to back down and fade onto irrelevancy. So cool

Soleums dealt with so much he doesnt view these guys as a threat at all and just kinda let them do whatever because he thought the bigger threat would be drawing attention. That was the wrong choice! If he'd shut them down earlier this wouldnt be happening! This situation wouldn't be occurring! He didnt take these guys seriously and thats coming back to bite him!

Like look even here with them being directly responsible for his situation he isnt thinking about them at all! Or factoring them into his plan! Its only when THEY start doing things that he aknowledges them Very cool

Like a good example is Let's say youre running away from a monster And you see the door which will lead to your escape route But the door is blocked by a drawer on the other side. The drawer isnt an actual threat. It cant do anything to you. But because you didn't remove the drawer from your path, you are now in a MUCH more dangerous situation because of it. The darkness is the monster the person running is soleum the bullies are the drawer. Do u get it? Yeah

Contamination from what I get seems to happen when you play a role in the story So as the mascot in the golden flower resort A high schooler in Sekwang high school An employee at Brauns talk show. A teacher at a kindergarden. For more Zombie/infection stories contamination is pretty nonexistent unless you're "infected" Hmmmm But he is playing the role of someone listening to these beautiful instruments It wouldnt be as big of a role as other times like the examples I listed above. But that doesnt nessecarily mean the contamination levels wont be as bad… Maybe its just easier to heal the affects of contamination? Hm dunno.

Though… It seems like some ghost stories dont actually contaminate you badly even if you play a role in them? Maybe just becoming a permanent part of the ghost story. Fully entering the ghost story. Instead of just temporarily staying? Yeah that seems more accurate.

Also the more powerful a ghost story The higher the levels of contamination seem to be To the point even just interacting with them mildly causes contamination. This one seems to be a ghost story with extremly high levels of contamination So maybe it is as I said Becoming a part of the ghost story is what gives contamination But what qualifies as becoming part of the ghost story depend on how powerful the ghost story is. The more powerful it is, the bigger the qualification, to the point even interacting with the ghost story will cause contamination.
