my honest belief is either people only read manhwa and got face full of han yoohyun depicted in an uncharitable way....... (you know, how his obsessive tendencies are shown to be kinda one-sided? unlike how it really is. a lot of the times yoohyun is very much enabled by his loving hyung (as he should be)) OR they buy yoojin's early unreliable narration (him calling yoohyun a bastard etc and coming out of it believing yoojin actually hates yoohyun. which we all know is WILDLY incorrect. and who'd gently lay down the body of someone you hate only to slowly torture the creature that killed this person. and then wait to die next to said person you "hate" because there is no longer the reason to struggle on. you know.............) OR. well. no matter how much i like shj as a character. people often choose romance over anything platonic (nuance apply, you know what i mean), and yoohyun is "just a brother". why focus on that when there is a very shippable blond ceo etc etc.........
