all that i am gonna say is that eddie not correcting anyone about their assumptions of him and buck being a couple DIRECTLY mirrors buck’s lack of correction with the christmas elf and him not even batting an eye when maddie mentioned his boy crush on eddie in season 2. we have gone past the scope of the two of them seeming weird/love struck to those around them (maddie, tommy) and we are now covering a greater radius with outsiders/bystanders seeing something there. to me, that does not even leave room for doubt that they are laying everything down so effortlessly so that when the moment finally comes, it doesn’t come out of nowhere to someone that’s just watching casually. like they are making it very clear.
