It is not, strictly speaking, a leap of faith to assume Buck of all people would have one, but he did move recently, so— who knows what’s still lost in Packed Box Limbo. “Please tell me you have one I can use.” “I…” there’s a lengthy pause on the other end, Buck’s voice weak and tapering off at the end. “Y-Yeah, okay.”

Or: Eddie just needs to borrow some tools. Fleshlight, flashlight, what’s the difference? The distinction has never been more illuminating.

Eddie Diaz

He’s a character who gets very passionate about certain things. And I think he needs to be in an environment with a partner who he finds can encourage, enjoy, and embrace that about him. [...] I think he needs to feel, I guess, as we all do, safe in a relationship and appreciated for who he is. – OLIVER STARK

And if Buck were to present anything else [to him other than friendship], I haven’t even wrapped my head around how Eddie would understand how to move forward with that — other than being caught off guard, I guess.
