bucky: who the hell is bucky?

it’s really frustrating when people minimize the confusion and even the importance of identifying as ace. I’ve had people question the point in even identifying as ace, and sometimes, i feel that way myself--why am i making a big deal about it? but it’s confusing!!!! asexuality is such a big umbrella term that it can feel so confusing to figure out where you fall under it. but it’s OK!!

this is why labels are tricky. i identified with the ace label so much that it made me feel so much better about myself and more comfortable in my skin and in my relationships and helped me understand myself. but it’s also a trap in some ways, because no one should feel confined to a label.
