Honestly I think A LOT of white asexuals on here and the occasional non-Black POC are absolutely *oblivious* about how antiblack racism will always impact Black asexuals on top of any and every piece of acephobia they talk about or will ever receive. Not only are we always assumed to be less asexual than them or not asexual at all but they genuinely don't think we have any knowledge of self awareness of how asexuality is treated, how oppression works and how we face it 2x by being Black.
For every 'you'll find the right person someday' we get that and 'Black girls are fast'.
For every 'I'm making this canon sex and romo repulsed aroace sex and romo favourable' we get that and blackface, Black characters having their skin lightened, darkskin Black characters played by light skinned actors and real life historical figures being removed from paintings and records.
For every 'you don't seem asexual' we get that and the sexualisation and fetishisation of Black people's bodies.
For every 'asexuality is a mental illness' we get that and the lack of support for Black people with trauma, mental illness and neurodivergence.
For every 'asexuality is libido problem' we get that and the lack of support for Black people who access medical care and a greater risk of being dismissed by doctors for various physical diseases and issues.
For every 'asexuals just have sexual trauma' we get that and the lack of support of Black victims/survivors of rape and SA.
For every 'asexuals pretend to be oppressed' we get that and 'asexuals are white people making up labels' and barely any representation.
For every JK Rowling, Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro that attacks asexuality we have conservatives and TERFs like this attacking Black people ALL THE TIME, especially Black trans women, Black intersex women and working class and poor Black people. For every once in while conservative attack on asexuals we have weekly if not monthly right wing news segments and articles blaming Black people for the degredation of white society.
For every 'asexuals aren't lgbt' we get that and the antiblackness from white queer exclusionists who would've excluded us for our Blackness no matter what label we would've used.
For every 'virgin' and 'prude' you get we get this AND the n word. You think being called a virgin is the worst thing to be called. Some of you think it's a slur. Some of us get called that and *actual* slurs.
For the ace discourse that you lot pin and blame for everything and consider the peak of oppression, we have that and 400 years of SLAVERY, nearly a century of Jim Crow, lynchings, brown paper bag tests, pencil tests, the hostile environment, the Met police sus laws, n***** hunting, stop and search, anti DEI and more.
For every hypothetical you bring up about what *could* happen to asexuals it *has* happened, is happening and will keep happening to Black people.
And yet, Black asexuals as a collective don't get support for *any* of this except from ourselves and each other. So call me an emotionless asexual or whatever but when other asexuals on here try to tell me as a Black asexual that *I* don't understand hardship, that *I* don't understand how oppression affects a community or that *I* don't understand the history of my own (a)sexuality, I'm laughing in your fucking face.
