~Flash Rogues Fan~ (And Others)

This is inspired by a headcannon between my twin and I that the Rogues don’t know about Boomer being on the Squad. They can tell for a few days Boomer is building up to confess something so they set this up only to be hit with the truth.

These are my pride hc for them:

- Boomer is a closeted bi; he has a crush on Deadshot, Sam, & Melony; obliviously flirts with Sam; Enemies to Lovers with Deadshot

- Sam is pan & polyamorous; he has a crush on Boomer, Dillon, & Lisa; he openly flirts with Boomer but he thinks it’s just Sam being Sam

- Len is pan; he jumps between masc and fem (bc I’m indecisive & like both) and occasionally dresses in drag, though he wouldn’t let anyone but Mick or Lisa catch him in it

- Mark is a trans man; he tries to be a good role model for Axel who I also see as a trans man

- Mick is aroace (like me✨); he has more of a queer platonic relationship with Len; sometimes stays home with Roy who I see as ace while the others go out for a wild night, they watch old black & white films

As for the rest of the Rogues:

- Lisa is bi

- Dillon is bi & bigender; he uses any pronouns but most people use he/him; most people call him Dillon bc he goes by Roscoe and Rosa

- James is demiromanic

- Hartley is gay & a demiboy

- Magenta is lesbian

Poor Barry Allen thought it would be just another Tuesday when he suddenly finds himself not only in space but also being robbed by a gaggle of rock spiders. Aww, but one’s waving hello! (He most certainly is not.)

My design of James isn’t the most accurate to his character but I think it embraces his sillier side and helps to distinguish him more from Axel, though I like to parallel them with blond hair, blue eyes, and dyed parts of their hair. (Axel has lighter colors with blue dye and James has darker colors with pink dye)

It didn’t quite turn out how I wanted it to look but my main hope was for the stripes (mostly on his face) and gradients so it’s still a win. I gave the background a green tint so there was a bit of contrast.

I might try to draw a few other Rogues as Lanterns in the future.

I wanted to draw Lisa in a dynamic skating pose as well. She’s just so lovely and I like her drawing in contrast to Roy’s.

I also drew Len and James in specific fashion genres because I kept picturing what their niches would be. I picture Len more into gothic and elegant styles while James is full on decora kei. They look a bit funky because I actually drew their bases by hand but I’m happy with how they turned out nonetheless.

Who is that man holding what looks like Len?! Husband?! It looks a lot like a wedding photo!

Extra: Had to draw Hartley with the headphones too. I don’t make the rules.

Might do this again with other characters, but I’m not sure yet.

I saw this scene from School Bus Graveyard and wanted to draw some of the Rogues in because it seems very fitting for them. Mick looks different from when I drew him before because I fleshed out his design since then, same for Len and James. For James, I took inspiration from his appearance in Justice League Unlimited because I really liked his dyed hair. I themed their clothes after their costumes and color pallets.

As a bit of a tangent, I like the idea that, similarly, James & Axel bicker over who is the best Trickster, but they tend to get into cartoon style dust cloud fights a lot more often.
