eren jaeger who isn’t as scary as people make him out to be and is really a total nerd.

his dorm room was covered in posters, he had a clear bucket full of single comic issues, an almost finished set of invincible comics and a shelf decorated in figures. marvel, dc, anime, the walking dead, legos? you name it and it was there.

you were completely confused when he finally let you come over to watch a movie but seemed to want to avoid his room entirely. the movie wasn’t bad except for the fact that he looked completely uninterested.

“eren?” you mumbled, tilting your head slightly at the sight of eren starting to fall asleep on your shoulder. all that you got was a small “mm” in response.

“we can go in your room if you don’t really like the movie.”

his eyes jolted open but his body didn’t move. it was your first time over he wasn’t gonna ruin this by letting you see the dork infestation in his room. no way.

“movies not boring. we can just stay here n’ cuddle. or sleep.” he cringed internally at that corny ass line and tried to play it off as nonchalant, like he wasn’t really avoiding his room at all costs.

“couch isn’t comfortable.”

“what do you mean the couch isn’t comfortable-”

when you gave him that puppy look with your eyes he cut off. didn’t take much to get him to told. he let out a deep, deep, DEEP sigh and pulled you up by your hand and walked you down the hall. the movie still ran but he didn’t care.

his heart was racing hard. what if you thought he was weird? what if you ghosted him after leaving? what if you opened your phone and pretended to get a emergency text so you could leave- he shook his head. focus, eren. you wouldn’t do that. he hopes.

he finally opened his door, letting you in like a gentleman and your eyes widened when you saw his room. this is what he was so adamant on you not seeing?

"eren your room is so cute!”

he froze, face plastered with confusion. “cute..?” dorky, nerdfest, and geekathon he’s gotten before, (all from jean) but cute? never.

“yeah! it looks almost like mine! look!” when you pulled out your phone to show him a picture of your room, he blinked in surprise. a bed full of plushies, shoujo manga decorated your desk, kpop albums and posters on the wall and a big tapestry with the boys on it. your room was literally the same as his if a unicorn threw up on it.

eren was pulled out of his state of shock when you shrugged off your jacket on his bed and were going through his bucket full of single issues. at the bottom of it, it wasn’t a single issue but you found absolute flash and let out a gasp followed by a squeal and held it up. “i have this too oh my god!”

yeah the two of you’d get a long just fine. only thing that threw him off was your mention of being team cap.
