Notorious is supposed to be mostly scary when it's got Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant looking at each other like that for what feels like forty five minutes? Meanwhile Doris Day is starring in an ostensible romcom called Lover Come Back that coats its horror in painted candies and pastels and that's supposed to be romance? I'll take the bodies, thanks.
