everyone who is bad at texting should try postcards every once in a while. i have a truly miserable time responding to people but i still want them to know that i love them n think of them often and theres not that much space to write on a postcard, and when you sit down to start writing (which is itself a hurdle i know) the things you share are different because it isnt a conversation. "well today i went to the store and the weather is so hot so i bought a new kind of ice cream im excited to try" bam theres a whole postcard. and the best result is you get a postcard in return but at worst your friend gets a joyous surprise in the mail and there is no better feeling than good unexpected mail imo

what do the closers at my job even fucking do man

ive done a couple tasks to the best of my ability and i want to do a fun activity but theres this Dread that ive done a bad job or the fact that i do have other responsible things i can do and im sort of trying to hype myself up into doing them but the Dread means im just sitting here fretting about getting into trouble so im doing neither the responsible boring tasks nor the fun enriching one and the result remains the same and the Dread doesn't leave
