Shavuot: God gave us the Torah! That was pretty nice of him.

Now, we all know that Sans is the only monster who doesn’t turn into dust once you defeat him; rather, he walks off screen. However, if you actually check your kill count stats before and after defeating Sans, Sans is not counted as a kill. Yes, defeating him adds to your EXP, LV, and HP. But your Kill Count stays at 105! Here is proof from a playthrough a friend of mine did.

You cant fight vendors, so he sells hotdogs, ensuring you never get the chance to fight him b4 judgement day. Sleeping keeps his health high, so he sleeps. He can tell when you have or havent killed anyone, and adjusts his interactions with you accordingly. And he does all this, all the while making himself out to be a nonissue, right up until the end of the game. Not even mentioning the secret lab behind the house.

So what a lot of people may not know is that the Torah is mostly like. a farming manual. A day-to-day life guide for 6,000 years ago. And so it has instructions for harvesting, of course. But it says specifically that you shouldn’t reap all the way to the edge of your field, and that you should leave that for the poor. It also says that you shouldn’t take the fallen grapes from your vineyard, and to leave that also for the poor. And a lot more little things like that.

So why is it encouraged? Why doesn’t it count as stealing for the poor to take the food you grew?
