Scattered Stuff

We were going to rent a generator because my brother (who flips houses) needed it; his hand is being funky so I went to help with the lifting, signing, and all that. The guy helping us was super boisterous and friendly, and he asked what we needed it for and my brother responded that the new house doesn't have electricity. The guy looked at my brother, then looked at me, and said, "Sorry but I'm old and I have to ask: are you two a couple?" We laughed and said we were siblings and he said with a shake of the head, "Well, I still think you'd make a good couple." In my head, I was like.. I'll keep that in mind for the future XD But honestly, I was flattered that he thought I could catch such a guy as my brother

I'd like to wish you all the happiest of Easters! It truly is a happy and remarkable day: the day our salvation became complete. On Friday, Jesus bore all the sins from the past, present, and future on himself and took them in his death; so we could be free from sin and the death and destruction it brings. Because, face it, we were all damned to hell. It was set in stone and there was no way we could save ourselves. As humans, we were helpless. But Jesus, in his love, broke the chains and rewrote the Law so that we could be in relation with him. Sinless, redeemed, and saved. That weekend, our debts were paid. The spotless lamb sacrificed Himself and when to death in our place. But three days later, He rose again! He defeated death itself: our salvation was complete. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Romans 3:23 It was our unrighteousness that kept us from him, but he made it so we can be forgiven. If we ask it. In Christ, we have hope, peace, a refuge, and a future with Him surrounded by His glory. So, my friends, have a blessed day and let us relish in His great and abundant love!

And the lil pup rubbed his nose all over my leg and I whined "It's cold and wet... But still I get an omelet on my plate." And continued to sing, then laughed like an idiot while my sister stared at me like I was.. well, an idiot. But nothing like a Barbie song to distract me from life's unpleasantries.
