Hello everyone!

Last year I started designing a series of Coat of Arms, themed in the spirit of Pride Month and using different mythological creatures as heraldic animals. I now aim to turn these designs into wearable pins and will be running a Kickstarter in July to fund this endeavor! I have found a very trustworthy local manufacturer, who has already shown the quality of their craftsmanship with the first batch of test pins I received, just look at the detail they were able to produce!

Since I try to support local manufacturers, which produce pins with fair wages and are more ethical than outside of Europe, the pins are more expensive to create than through the usual pipeline via Asia.

I therefore seek to crowdfund the expenses since they would be more than I can afford. I have trouble reading between the lines and picking up on implicit information? Actually, I’ve learned the importance of giving and receiving precise, specific instructions in order to avoid time consuming miscommunications.

I’m easily bored with only one task? Actually, I have a curious mind and thrive in places with a wide range of tasks as I prefer dynamic environments where I can contribute to many projects.

I have trouble with white lies that are merely social niceties? Actually, I prioritize a transparent work environment where we can tackle issues head-on.

My therapist asked me to create something “motivating” so I made these.

that story where you challenge the fairy queen to a match of wit and skill to win back your loved one. and it goes … fine, you think? probably.

it would be one thing if Odo seemed miserable and awkward about it, but he isn't. he's HAPPY, the bastard. he swings by Quark's on his usual rounds, but spends the whole time mooning about how he felt the baby kick, or something funny Lwaxana said last night (presumably while they're cuddled up in bed together, Quark assumes). Quark has a little satisfaction from "i told you so"-ing Odo that he needed to engage with humanoid connection to not be such a sourpuss, but it curdles more and more as it sinks in that that connection will never be with him.

while Odo's on duty elsewhere, Lwaxana's often at the bar, meeting with dignitaries as ambassador, making her way through the holosuite catalogue, gambling and cavorting, etc etc. it burns how much Quark actually *likes* her, someone who knows how to have a good time and let loose, once she's not accusing him of stealing from her. He concocts fancier and more elaborate mocktails for her, because she's a very good tipper as long as she's treated well.

...at some point Quark overhears Lwaxana loudly flirting with some vedeks, going on and on about how she won't be on the station forever and her business is almost concluded here, and then she'll be free as a bird, and wouldn't he enjoy a lovely vacation with her to Risa? their childcare is as excellent as their pleasure activities for adults -- Quark can't believe his ears (but of course he can - he's Ferengi). He can't bear to imagine the way this will crush Odo's heart, but surely he deserves to know and better to hear from Quark than secondhand... He rushes off to break the bad news to Odo that she's flirting around and planning to leave him, but Odo just looks at him "Hmph. Is that all?"

picard: also abandons them

bev: unphased because she fucked a lamp ghost before, sends them to starfleet academy, somehow get better grades than wesley

worf: keeps them because it's honorable, but his parents are the ones who raise them and they're thrilled about it

data: researches the best heat lamps, spot despises them and he has to put up a baby gate

geordi: confused by the entire thing, gives them to data

deanna: keeps them, lwaxana continually buys them little outfits and wants to take them on vacation

riker: keeps them, to everyone's surprise, admits that he has had lizard babies before, to no one's surprise, and tries to teach them about women

sisko: enthusiastically keeps them. holds them wherever he goes. throws a baby shower and loves them with his entire heart

julian: keeps them, mostly out of intrigue but also out of compassion, asks garak for advice on keeping reptiles, which annoys garak to no end

jadzia: thinks they're cool, will not let worf send them to his parents, regularly brings them to the dabo table

quark: tries to sell them. no one wants them, so he gives them to sisko

rom & leeta: raises them with unending pride. rom and leeta gush about them to everyone.

odo: confused, not ready to be a lizard father, lwaxana ends up taking them

kira: also confused, not ready to be a lizard mother, still raises them though

garak: thinks they're offensive looking things, only doesn't abandon them because julian won't let him
