aw, thank you very much!! i really appreciate that :) i have a few floating around, but they're a little old now. the gist of it for me, in capturing and elaborating on any likeness, is picking three things and making those your own. mine being....

pushing the brows and cheeks for me makes a face look more 'midcentury comics', and i make his chin bigger to compensate. the age and extra wrinkles, on top of being devilishly handsome, make expressions easier. i find them really fun to draw. the things you pick and gravitate towards will be different! this isn't the way to draw nick, there are as many of those as there are people doing it (i LOVEEEEEE jess am and roystory4's take!) but just how i go about it

Suddenly having 50 moving eyes can make you disoriented and barfy and the adjustment period sucks ass

It takes both more and less time than you’d think to figure out what the structure as a whole looks like and where those eyes ARE

After you get used to it the entirety of the structure itself and all of the eyes you can see from feels like an extension of your nervous system in a very bizarre way. Like I have dreams now from the perspective of A Building and I’m not sure how to describe that.
