Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. But it isn’t home, and it never will be, and the more time passes, the more that thought makes him twitch. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.

Tony’s last words has been ‘the threat always comes back.’ Thanos won’t be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he’s going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.
