my boyfriend and i met online two and a half years ago, and we pretty much fell in love immediately. neither of us were looking for it, neither of us expected our lives to take this turn, but it did. he is the most kind, loving, generous, and amazing person i have ever met, and i love him so much which is why i am asking for your help.

i live in washington and he lives in scotland, and we have never met. we skype daily, and are always talking, but have not been given the opportunity to see each other yet. my boyfriend lives at home with his mom and sister who, take advantage of his kindness and generosity, yet show no gratitude or appreciation for all he does for them. they run him into the ground. living at home with them has completely brought him down and hindered all of his and our potential. while this was going on, he was diagnosed with serious depression, anxiety, and OCD to the point where he could no longer work and make money to save up to visit me. hell, he struggles to even go outside the house sometimes because it is so severe. it breaks my heart to see him like this because he is so smart, and went to school to be an engineer. however, his abusive youth caught up with him and this is what we are dealing with together, while trying to maintain our relationship.

i am recently graduated from college, and will start teaching in the fall, but i do not have the funds to bring my boyfriend over here. this is why i am asking for help. i know there are so many kind, generous people in the world who are willing to help people like me and my boyfriend. i have set up a GoFundMe account, and am asking for any help i can get. i need $2500 to bring him over here so we can meet and turn the tide for us and his mental health because this is weighing on him considerably. even a dollar would help. even sharing this to spread the world would help. i love him so much, and i want our relationship to succeed. than you so much for reading this. it means a lot to me that you even read to the end. know that we are kind and honest people, not trying to screw anyone over, but just want to be together.

I held off for two months for sharing this with anyone because it is so near and dead to my heart and I was/am afraid that people won’t respond or will respond negatively.
