(i had a bad day bc last night my insta and fb accounts were randomly flagged and disabled, and the appeal protocol is literally just me giving them more personal data (phone number, email, and a video selfie) and it felt so violating and stressful, bc if it didn't work, i'd have been permanently locked out.)

Standing as a (self-proclaimed) beacon of freedom against the Golden Fleet, the Bastion is a barely functioning station being held together by spite, spit, and a handful of very determined mechanics. As it comes up on its one year anniversary of foiling a coup that aimed to put them under control of the long reach of the empire, things begin to break in new and alarming ways. Thinking about Els' perfect day is something that actually needs some unpacking because one of their defining traits is their selflessness and devotion to duty (these are in fact mechanical hinderances of their's in the SWADE system in which I'm currently playing). So what would constitute a perfect day - is it just a job well done where nothing bad happens? Or do they yearn for something different, a day free of responsibility and duty? Would they know what to do with that freedom if they had it?

Thinking about what could make up a potentially perfect day for them tho; a crisp autumn day, visiting a hot spring or nice bathhouse, a sweet treat bought and eaten while still warm, spending quality time with a friend/love interest, a few drinks with her brothers in front of a fire and telling stories.
