A practice sketch of my Nosferatu Fransisca "Sissy" Flieger! For @thesixthplaneteer's Carmichael Chronicles! On her shoulder is her favorite pigeon - Odette. One of the Tacoma Anarch's top information gatherers, Sissy is a Nos who uses her Animalism and ghouling of pigeons and other local birds to learn secrets and spread the word. Invaluable in these days of trying to keep offline as much as possible. Her origin is a bit sad, having followed her childhood dream of having a rooftop bird sanctuary on top of her apartment complex only to have it also be her downfall. One stormy night when she was trying to calm the birds and keep their habitats secured, she was blown over the edge and fell to the pavement below. Slowly and very painfully dying, back broken, a Nosferatu that had been long watching her wanted to save her, so they Embraced her quickly. Normally the Embrace would fix her completely, however the cursed blood of the Sewer Rats twisted the injury sustained from her fall, leaving her permanently in pain even in unlife. She can walk with assistance though prefers her chair when she doesn't need to, she mostly keeps home and lets the birds do most of her work. Unfortunately for her, she occasionally tries to dull the chronic aching by indulging in drugged blood - which is where she met the bane of her existence: Sylvie, a local Ministry and leader of a MLM yoga cult. 💘
