i feel like i never grew out of my Awkward Phase like damn this is just my life now
can people not understand Joost is just like... a guy. He's an adult, he's a person, and he's a musician. He has a public platform but he doesn't care about it. He's literally just some guy. Like people cant expect him to be perfect. This fandom either wants to constantly demonize him or they treat him like a little baby child. Like he's an adult man, don't baby him, but also again he's a person so he's not gonna be perfect. People need to get over their constant need for everyone to be perfect and pure and I feel like the Joost fandom really reflects a lot of what is wrong with the cultural zeitgeist of this time. There is no nuisance and there is no winning. It feels so exhausting to log onto the internet to try to engage in a fandom of smth I love just to be thrown into this never ending whirl wind of dumb shit. I fucking love Joost and his art and this fandoms creativity and its all genuinely inspiring, but at the same time the constant dumb discourse is fucking exhausting.

How are people just normal about Joost? Everyone was crazy about him in 2024, then the hype died down a bit and I feel like it died down even more now... Lowkey feel like that one kid at the playground who still wants to play with PokΓ©mon cards while the others have found different things to do. I still wanna talk about Joost nonstop!!! But I'm happy we have like our little group on Tumblr. Sure, some people left/kinda left the fandom, but thankfully there's still people posting about him ππ»

I discussed it a little with some anons once after reblogging a post abt wireplay π€π€ i think he'd be a musical slash companion droid!! i love the idea so much too!! it can lead to fun and interesting sexual concepts.... πππ having to try n fix ur companion droid!joost and finding some of the wires make him short out, whining sounds coming from his voice box when you get your hands inside him.. overstimming leading to reboots, blue eyes glassing over, little loading wheels spinning in his pupils before he turns back on,, Joost obviously runs hot, being soo sweaty, so i think android!joost would overheat easily, his pseudoskin hot to the touch, motors humming loudly inside,.
