We return to The Dream Harbor, and The Cinnamon Bun Book Store.
This book was rally cozy, and more of a plot then The Pumpkin Spice Cafe. It's an easy read, a bit harder then the first book, but still easy to follow, it's spicy, it has a mystery subplot, and opposites attracts. And they attract really hard.
The FMC finds several of her books has been vandalized, and someone has left clues to who did it. And this girl thought it was the MMC, and this man just went along with it.
He is the 'run away' son of an fishing empire, that found The Dream Harbor, some five years before the first book.
She is the daughter of the mayor of Dream Harbor. Who runs the local book store, and is really happy to do so. And when she remember that her 30th birthday is coming soon she gets depressed, and so she hires the MMC to help her get an adventure before she 'gets old'.
She was raised by her biological mother and her two fathers, and her parents live together!
After some time the MMC realize that he has fallen for her, and he fell so hard. Then he has to go back home to help his older sister whom has gotten pregnant and is on bed rest. So he is forced to have an actual chat with his father. A chat that is long over due.
Over all this book gets 3 out of 5 stars from me.
It's cozy, it's crazy, and just good.
