my neck and shoulders hurt every time i look at wyll's horns. like the fact they extend so far past his head idk how he's supposed to lay down comfortably. he's probably going to struggle w bad chronic pain the rest of his life

#Wyll Ravengard #1. oh 100% AND that he spends the first weeks/months with them in the worst conditions one could be in while adjusting.#adventuring is already probably hell on the body at it's smoothest now deal with this and little chance to potentially rest in a position #that gets the weight off your shoulders a little while #glad there /is/ the (Wyll or Karlach origin forget which it came from) the conversation about caring for them at all but Karlach would have #a complete blind spot to this part....at least she might have tips for sleeping with them.#(One of the funny adjacent to enough tieflings for ilztaun to have suggestions for that just from be nosy and curious :p)#(........and thinking about how both friends who were in lion king musical have had some back issues around the puppets for a few hours #a night here just for the comparison point with those being built around that being a known issue that can happen >.< YIKES )

I feel like a very important part of worldbuilding for any universe with a magic system is asking yourself ‘how would people use this to do crime?’

#and also -- is it more effort to do with mundane means for crime? But how much to still try to #fake that a spell no one involved could do #but also would it slip into takes too much effort to learn not to use the spell regardless of #being potentially easier to trace back. (aka gale does crime badly again we meet again.)#always consider crime with magic.#hand a spell to a dnd party and few others they'll find many potential bad ways to crime with it
