Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in Games of Thrones 6x04 “Book of the Stranger”

#this sibling relationship makes me very tender #im not sure i quite have the words to articulate why #but on a tangential but related note #i love how the relationship that jon has with each and every one of his siblings is unique #his relationships with robb / sansa / arya are the ones that get the most screen time #and they’re all so different #but i think the relationship between jon and sansa is the most dynamic of all of them #as children their relationship is contentious; sansa is bratty and jon is broody #when in king’s landing she longs for jon or robb to come and save her—she craves help #or some sort of protection #but in the final three seasons she has learned to play the game of thrones better than he ever will #he may know how to swing the sword but she understands all the potential implications of its strikes #he may ride out to battle but she has helped plan the strategy; she knows all the players; she has considered all the outcomes #and for all the things got did wrong #i liked watching the evolution of sibling relationships throughout the course of the show #especially with the starks #and especially with jon and sansa #character: sansa stark #character: jon snow #this was an unnecessarily long ramble that no one cares about #but!#i do and i needed to write it out somewhere #series: game of thrones
