someone on tiktok had a theory that the reason mags didn't speak was bc she only spoke spanish. he showed a map of panem and the map showed district 4 in the mexico-area and she's older than the games themselves so what if instead of having a stroke she was speaking the dead language of spanish? katniss said she heard mags speaking in unidentifiable mumbles. it might have been spanish?? which is fucking hilarious.
