I don't really like the idea of bubble not being his own person and purely only being like a mouthpiece for caine's intrusive thoughts. I've always seen him more like an entity given purpose to uplift caine and how over the years he gained some kind of sentience that ultimately turned into resentment. bonus points if he was the oh so infamous blue AI. HOWEVER this fic I read put a spin on it that I can find myself really agreeing with :)
