Satsuki’s playful chatterbox of a daemon who’s a bit more boisterous and blunt than she is, not at all interested in hiding their cutting intelligence and ruthlessness for the sake of making themselves more palatable to others. Sometimes Satsuki wishes he’d tone down their sharp edges and play along with her demure, sugar-sweet act, but she’s usually secretly amused by his potty mouth and devastating sarcasm. She calls him Ukki for short!

Yet another moodboard inspired by @bbbutterfingers and her wonderful His Dark Materials AU! I never would have thought of a gila monster for Soul’s daemon, but once I saw it I knew this was it. Gila monsters are venomous but sluggish, which means they pose little threat to humans — somehow this seems very fitting for Soul. 

Inspired by the incredible HDM AU by @bbbutterfingers​ where Maka’s daemon, Shajaea, settles as a mongoose — it’s so fitting! Small and cute but absolutely insane little bastards who kill snakes? Yeah, sounds about right.
