all this bitchin’ and moaning

Needlepoint is kind of everywhere rn (read: everywhere on my curated & targeted social media for you pages) and I do fee the process looks FUN and I’m slowly being successfully #influenced away from my prior opinion that a lot of the finished objects are ugly...uhhhhh not my style. unfortunately this means I now I have a new problem of wanting to try it out but learning it costs approx 9 billion dollars a piece. I won’t be paying that, but I absolutely am delusional enough to believe I can just diy it all myself. I can paint a canvas. I can finish it myself. I will pay several hundred dollars to buy a sewing machine before I pay hundreds of dollars for someone else to sew me a pillow. Owning a sewing machine will naturally open up the can of worms to even more new hobbies. And I already have too many hobbies…but when have I ever let that stop me?

My goal is to finish the final chapter of career fic before the new season comes out and I even opened the word doc and wrote for the first time in MONTHS a couple days ago <333 we are so fucking back
