Something I did like was that Jonathan saved Steve and then was like "oh we still aren't friends" afterwards (ignoring the weird epilogue) Jonathan saved him because it wouldn't occur to him not to, hes a good man, he protects everyone as much as he can- his family, his love, his kid brother's weird little gang, the random folks who got dragged into it along the way, because he is a hero and I really think he is one of the beating hearts of the show.
