to me, the biggest destiel proof is that dean died too

Okay, I'll say it, the fact that Anna only wants to fuck Dean after she remembers she's an angel reads like it's more about who Dean is in God's plan than anything else. Like another type of rebellion against heaven. She can touch the Michael Sword even though it's not her place. The way she puts her hand over Cas's mark. Even the way she kisses Dean in front of Cas and Uriel, it's her way of exercising her free will, and throwing it in their faces. Even if they don't know exactly who Dean is they know he's important to Heaven and it's already been shown that Uriel has been ordered to stand down from attacking him. Anna is saying, look, I can do what I want to the things Heaven has laid claim to, because they don't control me.

Not to derail my own post but I do think it's hilarious that Anna is challenging both of them by being like "you too could touch the Michael Sword if you just rebelled from heaven" and Cas is like "I could kiss him 😳" and Uriel is like "I could punch him in the face😏"

the way this show wrote dean as “he will make sexist and homophobic jokes but beat the shit out of homophobes and sexists” and not realize that they just wrote the epitomal archetype of a closeted queer character

just thinking. dean makes questionable gay jokes in the bunker regularly enough for sam to notice. one day, finishing up a hunt, a hunter they’re teamed with calls the monster a slur. dean clocks the hunter in the face — “I don’t care who’s side you’re on, you have no right to say that.” in the car on the ride home sam’s thinking. “so why are YOU allowed to use that word?“ dean slams on the brakes and sam, who did not buckle up, smashes his face into the dash. they never talk about it again
