Actually I think there's a nonzero chance that due to the geological makeup of the land Washington DC and the White House specifically is built on (swamp), high temperatures and high humidity at this time of year, the still-flowing underground waterways enclosed by some of the city's sewer systems (Tiber creek etc), frequent large&invasive construction projects happening co-currently around the national mall area for the 250th anniversary (that may cause ground vibrations and changes of normal water runoff/landscape composition), the total destruction and excavation of the east wing of the White House to construct a massive new underground peoc bunker topped by a ballroom, AND mere feet away a ginormous very heavy octagonal+arched structure being set up on the south lawn for Trump's birthday UFC fight which will be attended by about 4000 people (significantly adding up to change the weight ratio on top of the land right next to the massive hole in the ground) I believe he and the whole White House could be swallowed up by the earth on his 80th birthday in a narratively appropriate commentary on the nature of the hubris of tyrants in which case his claim that this spectacle will be "the greatest show on earth" would be perhaps one of the only factually accurate things he has ever said, possibly ever

Tbh I'm concerned enough about the possibility of something happening that I even feel bad saying it because I forgot to point out also that there is expected to be a full-on thunderstorm, biblical plague levels of bugs, and TENS OF THOUSANDS of spectators in attendance (5,000 in the main area and potentially up to 85,000 watching from the Mall). Even if one doesn't consider the architectural dangers the weather alone should be enough of a concern for all the thousands people sitting out in the open. He might be genuinely risking their lives here, and too many people have already died because of this careless, cowardly man who views everyone, even his own supporters, maybe even ESPECIALLY them, as expendable resources. That's the one thing I guess we all have in common-- a selfish and suicidal regime leaves no one untouched, whether you're an immigrant or POC or trans person or a woman or some MAGA UFC fan, the only role you have to play in their story is narrative cannon fodder. Donald Trump despises the people he was able to dupe for falling for a grift so transparent. I wish they could see that before it ends up killing all of us. My Flag Day wish is realization of class solidarity
