Thor shows up on a Saturday morning in Pokemon pajamas and says: My brother has returned from the dead and wishes to make amends for the wrongs he has committed against your people! He points at Loki who is wearing full on battle armor. No one questions this. Tony takes a long sip of his coffee and just sort of nods because he's seen weirder: What do you think Legolas?

And Clint just shrugs because he's been weirder and Loki has the look on his face that says he's trying to figure out how not to be horribly murdered and no one that nervous is planing world domination: Okay by me.

Steve, meanwhile has the mother of all murder faces on because Loki crushed half of New York and Steve Loves New York even if it is Manhattan. And Natasha has started doing weird tricks with the knife from the butter dish that imply she going to stab Loki's eye out the second he twitches wrong.

Bruce just looks at them all and says: Are we serious here? Have I finally had a psychotic break?

Tony shrugs: Probably, but this is unrelated. JARVIS, lock him down, if he so much as looks at anything more dangerous than wildlife documentaries I want to know about it. And then Tony takes a bracelet out of his pocket, throws it through the air and it locks around Loki's wrist.

You just keep those in your pocket all the time? Steve asks, appalled.

You crushed a bus with your bare hands last week Tony replies. So yes.

You want Cheerios? Clint asks, holding out the box to Loki.

We don't see this platform as a means to an end, like how influencers use other platforms to make money off their followers and don't actually care what platform they're on, as long as it pays them... we see it as a community we are all part of, and that we want to see improve without losing the community aspect

Every other social media is just using algorithms to feed us non-stop ads, pumping out the most far-right Nazi content, and being completely overtaken by bots and AI. There's no "social" aspect left to most of them.

Tumblr also has a Nazi problem, and dealing with that would be a great change to implement, but aside from that, Tumblr is pretty much the only place you can go and interact with real people, without being sold to non-stop.

Influencer culture is dying out everywhere... this is NOT the time for Tumblr to hop on that bandwagon. It would literally kill this website... no one is going to join Tumblr because it become more like the other platforms that everyone's already sick of, and the more it becomes like Twitter or Tik Tok or whatever, the more current Tumblr users will abandon it, just like they did with every other platform.

My university will no longer have an English major. Students currently in the program will be allowed to finish but no new ones can enter.

We were told one of the faculty had to go at the end of next year.

As I was already planning to retire, I made it official so no one else would lose their job.

Got choked up. Had to stop for a minute.

I’m that tattered coat on a stick in a country no longer made for people who believe in the humanities, the liberal arts, the beauty of the written word.

I’m setting sail; I no longer belong there.
