Like an entire island where any mutant is welcome, receives the care they need and doesn't need to be afraid of humanity sending their murder robots after them, especially with the shit we've seen human anti-mutant organizations like Orchis do doesn't even remotely sound like a bad thing.

But nah, let's pretend offering mutants a safe haven is bad actually.

Look, Magneto is threatening human governments not to fuck with Krakoa, that's evil! (Ignore the fact that Krakoa is a very new and still fragile nation and humanity has historically thrown genocidal shit-fits over mutants just existing so hostility towards the governments that not only just let this shit happen but actively ecnouraged it in some cases as well as making it clear that won't fly anymore is a very reasonable course of action under these circumstances)

Krakoa wants to judge every mutant criminal themselves and won't accept other countries' legal authority, isn't that shady? (Ignore the fact that human law enforcement and legal systems run by humans have routinely fucked mutants over and by the time Krakoa came into existence they hadn't changed that in the slightest)

The mutants in charge of Krakoa want to take people's kids away, that's awful! (Ignore the fact that many young mutants are often rejected by their parents or forced to suppress themselves for their human family's comfort to the point that being abandoned by your folks for being born a mutant is the backstory of like 90% of the X-Men cast)

Hick man wanted to make Krakoa into a sort of Pleasure Island, too good to be true and a trap that would inevitably snap shut and take a lot of lives with it, but the problem is: Krakoa was a good idea. There's literally nothing wrong with it at all.

It’s a shame tumblr hates videos 😭 this probably isn’t going to get much attention. The fact this got more attention on TikTok than the other one kinda upsets me a bit 😭 that one took WEEKS. But I guess I can’t complain too much, likes are likes. Attention is attention.

I feel like before this, Scott felt like he was different from Xavier mainly becaise of how frankly he treated the "I am training soldiers" deal. While Xavier would lure this children in and pretend that he was only training them to defend themselves when he actually wanted them to figth for him and his cause (I fucking hate him), Scott never lied he was clear that he needed mutants to figth, he nedded soldiers.

But... in essence, both of them had a very similar line of though, that all mutants need to figth for their cause, that they children nedded to be trained and become xmen, because thats the only possible choice.

After this issues, he changes tho. His final dialogue with Mei is so special to me, because, after all shes been trough, she belives that she has to become an xmen, that "it is the only way". So having Scott say "I'll be am xmen so you don't have to" AAAAAAAAAA. He finally understands it and this finally make him fundamentaly oposite do Charles and OMG thats so beatiful

Anyway I just wanted an excuse to talk about this little solo run because it is so good and I love it so much
