God he makes me fucking SICK.

It’s a shame tumblr hates videos 😭 this probably isn’t going to get much attention. The fact this got more attention on TikTok than the other one kinda upsets me a bit 😭 that one took WEEKS. But I guess I can’t complain too much, likes are likes. Attention is attention.

I feel like before this, Scott felt like he was different from Xavier mainly becaise of how frankly he treated the "I am training soldiers" deal. While Xavier would lure this children in and pretend that he was only training them to defend themselves when he actually wanted them to figth for him and his cause (I fucking hate him), Scott never lied he was clear that he needed mutants to figth, he nedded soldiers.

But... in essence, both of them had a very similar line of though, that all mutants need to figth for their cause, that they children nedded to be trained and become xmen, because thats the only possible choice.

After this issues, he changes tho. His final dialogue with Mei is so special to me, because, after all shes been trough, she belives that she has to become an xmen, that "it is the only way". So having Scott say "I'll be am xmen so you don't have to" AAAAAAAAAA. He finally understands it and this finally make him fundamentaly oposite do Charles and OMG thats so beatiful

Anyway I just wanted an excuse to talk about this little solo run because it is so good and I love it so much

3K Gene bomb - this was the event that led to AoR so it's really weird it's last on the list. Although the one in the AoR event was a false flag attack by Doug, and now 3K has the plans to actually do the bomb themselves.

Utgard rises could be the events of Immortal Thor. We're in act 2 of that so it's hard to tell, but that would be my bet. It was the inciting incident for the entire series. 'The Wheel Turns' etc

One of Cyttorak's kids traded away immortality in 8 deaths, so maybe that?

I imagine that in a world where the Scott/Apocalypse fusion was a longer-lasting element of the plot, they would've eventually wanted to recruit their own horsemen (to satisfy Apocalypse's need for them merging with Scott's yearning for a team to lead). I imagine that they would've picked the remaining O5 members because A) 1/4 of them was already a horseman, B) 2/4 of them are super powerful and the remaining 1/4 is a mega genius, C) the part of them that is En Sabbah Nur would consider it an advantage that they may be more loyal due to their remaining positive feelings towards Cyclops and X-Men come pre-battle trained, D) the part of them that is Scott desperately wants a sense of familiarity and to have his loved ones back at his side (though this is also being combatted by Scott's want for his team to stay as far away from whatever he's become).

Here's what I think the Horseman lineup would look like:

Bobby - Famine: An ice age incarnate, freezing the lands before they have a chance to grow. In addition to maintaining his original power set, he can freeze people on a molecular level and cause mass cell death with precision. He starves the world of warmth.

Hank - Pestilence: Specializes in biological weapons of mass destruction, his mind attunes to the spread of diseases through man-made means. Beast's claws and teeth sharpen + gain venom ducts for use as disease transmitters. In addition to a mastery of already existing diseases, he can invent new ones.

Jean - War: Psychological warfare made literal, she torments the enemy from within as much as without. Her baseline abilities are enhanced, as well as granting her the ability to weaponize pure psionic energy as blades, projectiles, and armor. However, the Bird is no longer working with her and has instead joined up with Rachel for the foreseeable future. As such, all the abilities she gains by being Phoenix are completely locked off.

Warren - Death: Basically the exact same as Archangel is in canon. It is worth noting that the divide between 'Warren' and 'Death' seems to be exacerbated by the nature of the Scott/Apocalypse fusion.

The Horsemen seem to have retained most of their base personalities, so it's in question whether Apocalypse utilized the brainwashing portion of the process. An obvious counter-argument to this is 'why are they working with Apocalypse unless he is forcing them'? The O5 surely have to be aware that this isn't Scott anymore...right?
