The character was created by Bob Quinn years ago, and inserted into the background of Way of X #2 in 2021 offering a guest of the Hellfire Gala one of her treats. Forge mentions that her gift is “the best damn ice cream he’d ever had”.

Soft Serve is not lactose intolerant. Her body serves as a portal to the ice cream dimension, with “pooping” being the colloquialism for the bizarre location of the portal. It is likely that she does not poop at all. She is a “big fan” of Eye-Scream, a mutant villain with the ability to become any flavor of ice cream that he desires.
