Defending a Black female character from a piece of media I may or may not even consume, no matter what she does, because I know of the racist, misogynistic double standard that her actions would be perceived differently to the audience if she were a white man. Name the character, go:
“You feel the bulge in his pants” - implies that you are feeling some guy’s penis, may be sexy depending on context
“You feel the bugle in his pants” - implies that this guy has a military horn in his pants, invites confusing questions like why does he have that and how big are his pockets

does dazzler know spider-man behind the mask? if not i think it’d be really Really funny if he were Alison’s best man and so he was in all the pictures wearing a really nice suit but had the mask on
HE WAS LITERALLY ONE OF ALISON'S FIRST FRIENDS AND HE WAS IN DAZZLER #1 AND SHE COOKED BREAKFAST FOR HIM TOO but idk if they ever actually interacted with him out of the mask so i think it's funny if dazzler just is lifelong best friends with spidey without ever knowing who he really is bc why does she need to know that, spidey is her twin brother and this is definitely his real audience
i'm making this canon, spider-man as dazzler's best man and also the last minute photographer because auroradazz had hired peter parker but he cancelled last minute for some reason, totally unrelated 🤕🤕
i'm now saying other spider-verse folks like miles and gwen and cindy will be there bc i said so 🤝 the spiderverse and the x-men are like cousins literally
spiderman being there would be pretty funny "who invited this guy??" but also he has to dance with northstar bc peter danced with aurora at northstar's wedding
wait tangentially to my other reblog, maybe gwen and her band are the entertainment? since she's already friends with her earth's dazzler I'm sure she'd get along great with 616 alison too
YESSSS I was talking about the mary janes, not too sure if hobie 138 would show up but he'd definitely send them customized denim jackets as a wedding gift.
+if it happened on the moon or in space it would be so funny if some of the guardians of the galaxy got hired as security for the event because there's definitely going to be supervillain wedding crashers.
