Iâll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as âattractiveâ or even âsexyâ to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isnât?
Sometimes, sure, but why was Maid Marian a fox in Robin Hood? There wasnât anything particularly âfoxlikeâ about her personality, and it would make more sense for her to be a lion. They made her a fox only because Robin was a fox and making her something else would be âweirdâ, but I donât think the wolf cop or the chicken maid or the lion prince were actually meant to represent race.
The best inter species couple is Kermit and Miss Piggy as the Cratchits in A Muppet Christmas Carol, because all their sons are frogs and all their daughters are pigs, as God clearly intended.

I always thought that in muppet movies like muppet Christmas Carol the characters are played by the muppets (so kermit is acting and playing the role of Bob rather than being him) so the kids in that film would just be other acting muppets right?

tubi is one of our greatest warriors in the fight against streaming services costing a fortune for mediocre content. tubi has the most insane collection of movies you will ever encounter all for free. it has cult classics and questionable lifetime movies and movies that nobody except like three people on the planet have ever seen. tubi has movies that doesnât exist. like if you just thought of a movie one day but never made it and no one ever made it it would somehow still exist on tubi. one day i will log onto tubitv dot com and i will see terribly inappropriate, overly complex, and strange on there. and i wonât even be surprised.

i genuinely don't get people that act like bottom peter parker is hard to find or underrated that is literally the dynamic in the majority of m/m fic you see out there
also yeah like I am a service top leaning switch truther for him (heavily or mildly top leaning depends on the ship in question) but that's because of a big part of that ties into who he is as a character. and i'm kind of convinced that people who exclusively only like bottom peter don't really read comics or really care about keeping peter in-character... #just saiyan...
but yeah I do think that people who write johnny as like a dominant top or whatever fundamentally miss the point of his character and literally take his popular celebrity status at face value. and I'm convinced it's the same reason they don't take mj seriously either, they see her facade not as an act she puts on but her real self despite it being stated outright that it's not real!!!!!
