Headcanon that literally NO ONE- aside from his brothers, mc, Diavolo, and Barbatos- is able to connect the dots that Leviathan, the grand admiral of the Devildom's navy, and Levi, some dweeb who owns way too much anime merch and screams profanities in COD lobbies, are the same demon.
Because he literally acts like a different person when he's doing stuff with the navy.
Like most of the time, he's not projecting an air of confidence. He's avoiding eye contact, hunched over, dragging his feet, mumbling his words. When he gets angry he typically gets more emotional with it, and maybe he even ends up angry crying.
He's somewhat of a mystery, honestly, rarely making public appearances. He doesn't even attend his classes in person despite living like. Right There.
So almost no one, aside from those who interact with him regularly, knows about the 'real' Levi.
Who they DO know is Leviathan, the admiral.
Perfect posture, good eye contact, clearly projects his voice- basically he's masking really well. #autism swag
He marches perfectly, never even half a beat offstep, and even when he's walking normally he keeps his pace perfectly in time to a mental rhythm. Almost like a living metronome.
When he gets angry, he doesn't get emotional. He gets very, almost eerily calm.
He has cruel cunning and ruthlessness in his eyes, a clear indication of his past. His ability to fight. How he managed to gain such an honoured position among Lord Diavolo's fighting forces.
This Leviathan is, of course, also a rather seldom seen figure. But he's in the public eye more often due to the nature of his work, being sighted on scene among the other members of the navy and attending events hosted by Diavolo.
But somehow, despite the fact that they look literally identical, no one is able to tell that they're the same person.
Because their vibes are just so different.
So on the (extremely) rare occasion when Levi is both out of the house and Calm Angry, it's kind of a shock to whoever's around to watch this random loser practically do a magical girl transformation into The Admiral Of Hell.
More than once, a clip of him screaming at one of his brothers (usually Mammon) while like. Wearing a shirt that says "gamers don't die, we respawn" or holding an anime girl body pillow or something, has circulated around captioned something like "so THIS is what the admiral does in his spare time?" Or "who was gonna tell me that the guy who yelled @ me for having uneven shoelaces last tuesday is secretly a fucking loser lmao"
And EVERY SINGLE TIME, the general public of the devildom comes to the conclusion that no, that couldn't possibly be Leviathan. It's just someone with a scarily accurate impression of his voice and an uncanny visual similarity. Obviously.
It's just some rando with a vendetta against the admiral using that uncanny similarity to try and tarnish his reputation.
(Levi has like 9 billion alt accounts that he uses to gaslight everyone every single time this happens)
So tldr, as far as the devildom is concerned; there exists:
Leviathan, the grand admiral of hell
Levi, the avatar of envy and agoraphobic weeb
some random guy who looks really similar to the admiral and is using that to try and ruin his reputation
And they believe that these are 3 separate individuals
